Political pundits have been wondering for months about what might happen if Joe Biden drops out of the 2024 race, but what if he's impeached? The American Thinker's W.A. Elliot says there's a small chance that Senate Democrats might vote with Republicans on impeachment in order to get Joe out of the way.
"They could pull off their own surprise by voting with the Republicans in the Senate. If there's two-thirds of those present voting in favor of convicting, Biden would be out."
So why would the Democrats vote to convict their own party's president? Elliot says it would be to make room for someone better, namely, Michelle Obama. Elliot says if this situation unfolds, there could be pressure on Michelle to take over, particularly from her husband Barack, who Elliot thinks wants to become "the de facto president again."
Elliot said that while all this is unlikely, it is possible. And in today's world, nothing can be ruled out.
