Despite the spin from the White House on how great the 'jobs' numbers are right now, the real data tells a different story.
The facts are, there were more than 82,000 jobs cut last month, and that is not only a 136% increase from December. It's the highest number of layoffs to start a year in January since 2009.
"These jobs are evaporating" said award winning reporter for The Epoch Times, Patricia Tolson, "And a lot of these companies, once that job and once that employee is laid off, they just eliminate that position. They don't hire somebody to take it back over."
The reality is, things are not improving with 'Bidenomics', and even more layoffs are expected this year as the big companies cut people loose to improve their stock.
"Things are not getting better" Tolson told KTRH, "There's an undercurrent there that's being covered over, but you can't hide it. When you're posting layoffs in just the first couple of months of 2024, something's not right."
More than 1.64 million Americans were laid off in 2023.
