Iran holds enough uranium to make a nuclear weapon within one week

Concerns over Iran's nuclear weapon capabilities have been on the rise for some time. It all began years ago, when President Barack Obama decided to give Iran a deal that lifted any nuclear-related sanction sin exchange for Iran to pinky swear they would not build a nuclear weapon. That deal was immediately shot down by President Donald Trump, only t foolish be reinstated by current President Joe Biden.

Under Biden, the United States recently also unfroze $6 billion in Iranian money, which was frozen due to humanitarian sanctions. That money was then used to help Hamas attack Israel and escalate the Middle East conflict dramatically. According to a Watchdog report, Iran has kept pumping resources into their nuclear program, and is now capable of producing a nuclear weapon within a week, and up to six in a month.

This has heightened fears among experts of extreme danger for the Western world. Political analyst Jake Novak says the fears right now focus on Israel's response to Hamas.

"There is a specific worry that when Israel wraps up operations against Hamas...which might be the end of Hamas...that Iran might retaliate with use of a nuclear weapon," he says. "Not as a warhead on a missile...but likely a dirty bomb, something in a truck...likely in the Middle East."

However, the worries do not stop at the Gaza region.

"There is definitely a worry, because of our border being open, that it could be used here. I am not saying there is a high probability of this...but it is the focus of intel and security groups right now."

Biden's border bungle seems to be tying into a lot of problems lately. So far in the last fiscal year, the FBI reports 169 people on the terror watchlist have been apprehended at the border.

The fear is not just the terror watchlist immigrants, but Venezuelans in particular are a worry.

"So many of the people crossing have been Venezuelan nationals...Venezuela and Iran have major ties, and have for a long time," he says. "Venezuela is a friend of Iran...probably one hundred thousand Venezuelans have crossed the border in the last year and some of them, undoubtedly, are connected to Hezbollah and Iran."

The Institute for Science and International Security, who published the watchdog report, issue their threat of 'extreme danger' for the first time since it began reporting in October 2022. In May of 2023, Iran's threat score on their scale was 140 out of 180. This most recent report ranked it at 151 out of 180.

But again, this goes back to 2008, when Obama took the wheel and began all of the pro-Iranian policy making. President Biden has just carried the torch and is now holding it over a tinderbox that is ready to blow.

"The question is why...during 2009-2012, the Obama Administration shut down FBI projects against Hezbollah int he United States...in 2012, he expended political capital on the Iran deal...why?" he says. "We need answers, but I do not think we will like them when we get them."

Last week, Iran announced it is beginning construction on a fourth home-built nuclear reactor. They are a ticking time bomb, and an incompetent President Biden is the only one that can unplug it.
