Texas A&M is pulling the plug on its campus in the Middle Eastern nation of Qatar.
The University System Board of Regents voted this week to end its contract with the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development.
The government foundation funds the A&M branch campus in Qatar. Canceling the contract shuts down the 20-year-old program.
he school will wind down the Doha campus over the next four years.
The board's decision was reportedly prompted by instability in the Middle East.
