Twenty-one million Americans are now on Obamacare, but that's not because of how great it is. As it turns out, Obamacare's growth can be credited almost exclusively to the massive amounts of subsidies that it receives from us taxpayers. But with so many subsidies, at least the many low-income people who are on Obamacare get good coverage, right? Nope. Turns out the $0-10 plans that the Biden administration loves to advertise to people, can leave you with six to seven thousand dollar deductibles.
Healthcare expert David Balat told KTRH, that those high deductibles are resulting in many Americans who qualify for Obamacare still looking for better options, or even waiving coverage altogether.
"Does insurance need to be that expensive? My contention is no."
So if Obamacare doesn't give people great affordable care like the Democrats claim it does, what exactly is it doing? Balat says, it just exists to buy votes.
"It's a great mechanism for people in power to say, 'This is what we're doing for you. This is a great way to keep us in power, and put more of us in power."
With America now thirty-four trillion dollars in debt, and that number growing by the moment, the question needs to be asked, "How much longer can taxpayers continue to pay for democrat votes?"
