The House is not don’t with DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
Less than a day after an impeachment attempt failed, House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green told Fox News they will try again next week.
The first attempt failed when three Republicans voted along with Democrats against impeachment. A fourth, Blake Moore, only changed his vote because it would snap a tie, allowing the issue to be brought back up again.
Louisiana Congressman Steve Scalise was not at the first vote because of a health issue. Green told Fox he will be there for the second vote next week.
For his part, Mayorkas, at the Super Bowl in Las Vegas, told reporters he is not concerned about what may happen next week.
