For the second day in a row, a fugitive was shot by US Marshals' Violent Offenders Task Force.
In today's incident, a man was shot and killed by members of the Gulf Coast US Marshal’s Violent Offenders Task Force after he retrieved a gun on Wednesday in east Harris County, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Officers were trying to arrest a man, who was wanted on multiple warrants for sexual assault of a child. The suspect retrieved a pistol, and officers fired their weapons. The suspect was struck and went down.
A man was also shot in this same area by members of the Violent Offenders Task Force on Tuesday after he fired at officials.
