A recent survey of 800 hiring managers by intelligent.com showed that 38% of these hiring managers said that they would not hire recent college graduates and that some 58% of them thought these grads are "simply unprepared for the workforce".
Trevor Houston, Host of the "Who Ya Know Show" thinks that part of the disconnect are "expectations". Many of the grads are unrealistic in their expectations for what an entry-level job looks like, and pays.
