Countries in the European Union are increasing tourist fees, Amsterdam's going up the most at 12%.
Travel Market Report Editor Daniel McCarthy says with the exception of the United Kingdom those European vacations are going to get more costly.
"Startting in 2025 European Union countries which does not include the UK will start requiring Americans apply for and pay for s visa, which is called the ETIAS.
It's a 90-day electronic travel authorization linked to a US passport.
The new rules and expenses were originally planned to take effect this year but the EU is delaying the rollout until next year.
