On Sunday, February 4, 2024, Texas Governor Greg Abbott hosted a group of GOP governors at Shelby Park in Eagle Pass, Texas to see, firsthand, how the control of the U.S. Border is being handled by the State of Texas.
Tennessee Governor Bill Lee thanked Governor Abbott for having "done everything within his power to provide an improvement to the situation at the border and to provide safety and security for Texans, for Americans and the Federal Government has failed Texans and Americans...."
