Many Americans are wondering how many terrorists have crossed our southern border. And the answer is, at least one. A Somalian terrorist was able to roam the U.S. for a full year before being arrested. He was originally caught at the southern border by federal authorities, who then released him into the United States, where he lived for a year before being arrested again.
Former U.S. Marshal Robert Almonte told KTRH that even one terrorist slipping through the cracks is unacceptable.
"Who knows what he's been doing? I would venture to say he's probably been working with other terrorist cells who are already in the United States."
Almonte says that with so many potentially dangerous illegal immigrants crossing the border, Americans need to be alert.
"The old saying, if you see something, say something, couldn't be more true than today."
