After being our number one rival for decades, is China now trying to cover up an economic crisis by fudging their youth unemployment numbers? China recently announced their youth unemployment fell from over 21% to just under 15%, but foreign policy expert Harry Kazianis says these reports are basically worthless.

"The Chinese have always historically lied about all their economic data, for almost a decade now."

Kazianis told KTRH that the reason they lie about the data is because it's the only way for them to achieve their ultimate goal of one day becoming the world's number one economy. But at this rate, that's not likely to happen.

Between the mistrust that came as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the shrinking of China's working age population, many of the manufacturing jobs that made China an economic powerhouse, are now being relocated to other countries that can produce more reliably and for cheaper.
