The Pentagon has identified the three soldiers killed in a drone attack over the weekend in Jordan. That attack, carried out by an Iranian backed proxy, injured more than thirty other Americans.

The soldiers that were lost have been identified as Sgt. William Jerome Rivers, 46, of Carrollton, Ga.; Spc. Kennedy Landon Sanders, 24, of Waycross, Ga.; and Spc. Breonna Alexsondria Moffett, 23, of Savannah, Ga.

The White House claims they will respond on their terms but is also being careful not to escalate the situation in the Middle East. Republicans argue that it is their hands off approach that has emboldened Iran, as there have been more than 150 attacks by their financially backed proxies since October 7th.

White House Spokesperson Karine Jean Pierre is also taking heat for what she said during a TV interview about the attack this morning.

She told MSNBC, “obviously our deepest condolences go out and our heartfelt condolences go out to the families who lost three brave, three brave, three folks who are military folks, who are brave who are always fighting, who were fighting on behalf of this administration.”
