After lying about getting hit with a brick, a Ph.D student at Texas is being hit with a felony-theft charge.
Roda Osman made as much as $40,000 from a GoFundMe account saying she was a victim of an assault by a man who hit her with a brick.
In documents obtained by Fox News Digital, the Houston Police Department believes that she was hit with just a water bottle and that video of the incident does not support her claims.
In a statement to Fox, Osman says she was the victim of a head injury and because of that she was not sure what she was hit by.
GoFundMe has banned Osman from any future fundraisers.
