Conservative Students Say They've Felt Political Pressure In Class

It what should not be considered a surprise, a new survey found that conservative college students say they feel more political pressure in class, and they are very uncomfortable sharing their views, especially on hot button issues like abortion, and transgenderism.

"A lot of the students feel that certain views are not allowed to be spoken of" said Matt Bennett, a higher education expert and Houston native, "And if it's a Christian view, such as the view of life and the view of marriage, then they're not received very well or excluded in a lot of places, both socially but also in the classroom."

In what he started as a missionary movement, Bennett is the CEO and founder of Christian Union, an organization dedicated to developing bold Christian leaders at the most strategic and influential universities in America.

"It takes some real courage for people to step out, and you're going to get some flack and pushback" Bennett told KTRH, "I am hopeful for the future, I think people will step-up, and I think it will happen. It's not happening yet, but I think with great moves such as freedom of speech on Twitter, I think that's going to help and embolden a lot of people."

As he noted, the now 'woke' Ivy League schools were actually started as 'Christian' universities.
