According to GAYOT (The Guide to the Good Life), Houston has both the second and the third-best burger spots in the country right now. And both are part of the same chain.
For decades GAYOT Guidebooks were a trusted publication, with reviewers covering the best in food, wine, and hotels. The guidebook has turned into a comprehensive website for up-to-date travel and restaurant information. They recently published an article on the top burger restaurants in the U.S., spotlighting the top 11 burger experiences their reviewers had in 2022. Houston's own Becks Prime made the list twice! The top spot went to The Apple Pan in Los Angeles, but the original Becks Prime on Kirby is #2 and Becks Prime on Augusta is #3.
Both reviews single out the Blue Cheese Burger with bacon as the one to get. The homemade lemonade and the Kirby location's tree-shaded patio are mentioned as highlights.
