An all-star lineup of conservative speakers at Texas Values' fifth annual policy forum in Austin this weekend.
Sen. Ted Cruz and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick to name a few. The group's Jonathan Saenz says 2022 provided plenty to talk about so far.
"It's been a huge year with Roe v. Wade being overturned and to inquire about what's going on with the pro-life issue. What's the current law?"
"Is it okay to for them to have drag queen story hours at my kid's public school library? All these different things, we're going to talk about," says Saenz.
Politicians are not the only ones speaking during the two-day event.
"A football coach who was fired from his job for voluntarily praying after a football game on the football field, coach Joe Kennedy, he's going to be there. He won his case at the U.S. Supreme Court, after seven years."
The two-day forum begins Friday at Great Hills Baptist Church in Austin. Click here for ticket and streaming information.
"We want to educate, motivate and activate them on the issues of faith, family and freedom," says Saenz. "The way to do that is to learn more about what's going on and what your rights are, and hear directly from the people who have been involved in these issues."
