A Texas Homeowner's Assistance Fund Workshop will be held next month in Harris County and residents of neighboring counties.
The event is being put on by Justice of the Peace Wanda Adams with the Earl Carl Institute for Legal and Social Policy and Hamilton Legal Services.
Information on mortgage assistance to prevent foreclosures will be provided along with forbearance programs and help with paying tax and HOA delinquencies.
The workshop will be held on July 9 from 9:30 am until 1 pm at Texas Southern University.
