GardenLine appearances and book-signings set for every Saturday in June

The final GardenLine book-signings until fall are set for the four Saturdays this month.

And the first three offer great opportunities to get your hands on signed copies of my new book for Father’s Day gifts.

This Saturday, I’ll be at J&R Ace Hardware in Porter 11 a.m.-2 p.m. They are conveniently located at 23678 FM 1314, about a mile east of U.S. 59. That’s also just a few miles southeast of the Grand Parkway - easy to get to, is what I’m saying!

GardenLine helped them out for their grand opening in 2019, so I’m heading back to help them celebrate their second anniversary. This is a big and beautiful place, and they’ve always done a great job carrying a super selection of GardenLine-endorsed products for lawns and gardens.

If you live anywhere near

  • Porter (Duh!)
  • New Caney
  • Valley Ranch
  • Porter Heights
  • Oakhurst
  • Lake Houston Wildlife Park
  • Grand Oaks High School
  • Woodson Reserve
  • Bender’s Landing

help me get the word out that I’ll be close by with signed books. Plus, I can show you what all our GardenLine-endorsed products look like, and we can talk about any issues you need me to get a “pair of eyes” on … bring in examples, and let’s get them identified and diagnosed.

And the first 40 people who pick up an autographed book will also get hooked up with one of several varieties of focused fertilizer. Use it to keep aggressively feeding things that might still be struggling to come back from the February freeze.

If you don’t know what I mean by “focused” fertilizer or “aggressive” feeding, read last week’s article intended to encourage such practices. Even though it’s been three months since the freeze, remember the GardenLine adage, “It’s Never Too Late to Do the Right Thing.”
