You probably know how much I love doing my GardenLine seminars at good old-fashioned home and garden shows. I really enjoy getting to talk with people in person, and at the seminars, people can ask me questions, and the whole audience can hear the answer. They also give me a chance to catch up with super fans.
Well, thanks to ‘Rona, this September and October we can’t gather in a room full of people. So, instead, we’ll do it this weekend at the Montgomery County Fall Home & Outdoor Living Virtual Show. Get registered right now to be part of it all at texwoodvirtual.com/.
The full show is free and online, so no strapping on a mask. The virtual doors open at noon Friday, and my seminars will be live at 11 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday - you’ll be able to ask me a question in real time via Zoom. If you just want to listen, though, I’ll take a bevy of gardening questions sent in via an email address that I’ll announce just as I go live at 11 a.m. I’ll try to weave Zoom questions in with email questions I get throughout the session.
Since the entire show is virtual and online, there will be no parking hassles or social distancing. You can take in the whole event from your laptop, PC, tablet or phone, whenever you want. Even after this LIVE weekend, you’ll still be able to visit the virtual show through Oct. 4 and browse nearly 100 online home improvement booths, all with special offers on home services. And in addition to my live Zoom seminar, you’ll also find home décor sessions, floral workshops and glass-blowing demos. Check out the entire lineup at www.texwoodvirtual.com.
While the show is free, voluntary contributions for various Montgomery County charities will be appreciated.
