About Ken Paxton's Impeachment Trial:
- Representatives will act as prosecutors. The House named 12 members to prosecute the case, made up of seven Republicans and five Democrats.
- Senators will act as jurors.
- The Texas Senate agreed to start its trial of impeached Attorney General Ken Paxton no later than Aug. 28, 2023.
- The 20 articles of impeachment against Paxton have been delivered to the Senate.
- A two-thirds vote is required in the Senate to remove Paxton from office.
