Yesterday afternoon (20-22-2022) players on the field and their friends in the stands at a Waller County baseball park were treated to a show --- a real live drug arrest!
While the game was going on the field, a drug deal was going off the field! Parents and off-duty law enforcement officers saw the whole thing and called the Waller County Sheriff's Department. You would probably think it would be two young adults making the illegal transaction --- but it was actually 2 Juveniles and 2 Umpires!!! They were believed to be making a deal for THC vape pens.
When officers arrived at the park, they arrested all four and then found in one of the umpires' care methamphetamine. The four offenders were arrested.
