5 Citgo Execs out of Venezuelan Prison into Their Families' Arms

Almost 5 years ago, six Citgo6 (Houston based oil company) Executives took a business trip to Venezuela. Things didn't work out as planned as they all were charged with embezzlement, arrested and put behind bars. They always maintained their innocence. One of them admitting that their 'accommodations' were "very bad."

Today (10-2-2022) they, plus one other U.S. national, are either already home in Texas with their families are will be soon. In part of a prisoner exchange, they have been removed from prison and allowed to come back home. They are Jorge Toledo, Tomeu Vadell, Alirio Zambrano, Jose Luis Zambrano, Jose Pereira, Matthew Heath, and Osman Khan.
