Igbokwe's wife, Tangela Igbokwe, and her mother, Linda Larkins, were both shot in the head around 7:30 p.m. at a home in the 30120 block of Aldine Westfield Road. Larkins was pronounced dead at the scene, and Tangela was taken to a hospital where she was last reported in critical condition.

Officials say the shootings occurred during an argument about custody of the child named Mansa. After shooting the women, Igbokwe fled with the boy. It was not disclosed where the child was recovered.

The sheriff's office described Igbokwe as about 6 feet tall and 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Officials believe may be driving a white 2008 Honda Accord with Texas license plate KMY0702. He is believed to be armed and should be considered dangerous.
