Hedwig Village residents say they’re worried about an incident that reportedly took place in their Memorial Village Estates neighborhood Friday.
The village police department says a man driving a black 2014 Lexus Sedan with Texas tag KXM3930 allegedly tried to lure two teenage girls into his vehicle.

The parent of one 14-year-old girl said the man offered her cookies and asked her to get in his car.
The police department was able to run the license plates and identify the car's owner, although they had not spoken with him as of this morning.
Police say the driver’s actions may be unsettling but not criminal.
Reporters found the vehicle's owner, but he claimed that the incident may be the result of a misunderstanding. He said he owns a limo service with drivers who often pick up clients in the Hedwig Village neighborhood.
