At iHeart Radio we love podcasts.
The Intercept is launching the second season of their series “Murderville,” in which two top investigative reporters examine cases in which systemic failures led to wrongful convictions.
He first season was about a case in Georgia, and season two puts the spotlight on Texas.
It focuses on the true crime case against Charles Raby, convicted for the 1992 murder of 72 year old Edna Franklin in Houston, who was giving the troubled 22-year-old parolee a place to live.
He was put on death row.
DNA evidence found under the victim’s fingernails offered clues to another possibility, and that will be examined in detail.
You can hear Murderville on your iHeart Radio app.
