Neanderthals? 40+Days After Texas's Mask Mandate Was Lifted- Cases Are Low

It's been 47 days since Governor Abbott re-opened Texas, and lifted the mask mandate.

The result? Covid numbers continue to plummet.

You can't help but wonder why we haven't heard anything about it? It's really great news! Unfortunately, the only thing we have heard is Judge Hidalgo trying to explain why Harris County is still on Code Red.

We also can't forget President Biden's reaction when Texas re-opened? Biden's exact quote was "the last thing we need is Neanderthal thinking" end quote.

Maybe not quite as bad as the bogus campaign promises about 'unity' and 'bipartisanship', but a dig none the less, and an errant one at that.

Republican strategist Andy Hogue told KTRH, "It's like when Hilary Clinton called us deplorables! If you look at the polling, the country is almost evenly divided between having to wear a mask, not wearing a mask. I think it's time we looked at real science."

The Covid numbers here in Texas are significantly lower than those of the restricted blue states. And those numbers should continue to increase, with more and more people getting vaccinated, moving us closer to 'herd immunity'.

Stealing a page from Donald Trump, Governor Abbott took to Twitter to announce that Texas had the fewest hospitalizations in the last 10 months.

But as Becky Blaylock who heads the Freedom Matters Action Group told KTRH, at some point they are going to have to stop moving the goal post. "We've re-opened, and people are -not- dying on the streets. Governor Abbott knew this when he re-opened. I'm glad that he did, I just wish he would have done it sooner."

One other number. The audience that listens to radio? is up 96% from a year ago. Now that's good data!
