Most illegal immigrants caught at the southern border are from Mexico and Central America, but there's a recent spike in asylum seekers from Romania.

Over the past month, nearly 40 Romanians have been caught sneaking into Texas.
Payan says he suspects some are trying to escape a crime syndicate in Mexico that's run by a Romanian national named Florian "The Shark" Tudor.
