The Last Time a Dem President Pushed Huge Energy Policy Changes, It Failed

Joe Biden is pushing for major changes to our energy policy. The last time a Democratic President tried to do that, it failed miserably. That President was Jimmy Carter.

"The United States is the only major industrial country without a comprehensive, long range energy policy," Carter said in 1977.

Phil Barnett with Barnett Oil says that was a bad time for Texas.

"There was gas rationing, long lines, and probably the weakest position we have been in internationally," Barnett explained.

And what happens if Joe Biden keeps up his attack on energy?

"National security will be weakened in a way that affects people more than decimating the military," he said, adding that if you gave aid and comfort to the enemy years ago, they called it treason.
