More Than 150,000 in Harris County Waiting for Vaccine

More than 150-thousand people are signed up on Harris County's vaccination waitlist.

The County's Ready Harris website had registered close to that number on Thursday at 11 am and by now have passed the benchmark.

The county has administered 29-thousand doses of vaccine so far, and what is in stock is going to be gone by the end of the week.

People who have gotten the first shot and are in line for their second will be given priority as the process progresses.

Harris County has been getting about nine-thousand doses every week, and county officials hope it will soon be 30-thousand.
