The frustration for access to Covid vaccines is causing as much stress as fear of the virus.
So far the Michael DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston has administered more than 10,000 doses of Pfizer vaccines by appointment.
Today military veterans who are 75 and older who are enrolled for care at the DeBakey VA Center or one of their clinics can get a Covid 19 vaccination today without an appointment. It’s a walk up clinic.
They open at 8 Saturday morning and will provide shots while supplies last.
They hope to open additional clinics in more locations in the future.
