Four teen girls arrested after 15-year-old dies in Walmart stabbing

Four teenage girls, who bragged on social media after fatally stabbing another girl in a Lake Charles Walmart store, have been arrested.

The 15-year-old died in hospital after the attack that was streamed live Saturday night. Her identity has not been released.

One of the girls, just 13, was charged with second-degree murder. The three others, age 12, 13 and 14, were charged with being principals in the crime.

After fleeing the store, the girls were seen in Facebook and Instagram videos with one girl saying, "'I don't give f**k. If she killed her, she killed her. Oh f***ing well. She dead now." The video was posted while police were searching for the teens. Authorities also released a store surveillance image (above) of the 13-year-old stabbing suspect as she fled.

Police say the girls used a knife they had stolen from the store just moments before the attack.

Videos showed the girls leaving the scene in a car as one screamed, "Just stabbed somebody at Walmart. We just stabbed that b***h in her heart. We don't give a f**k."

Police have not revealed a motive for the attack but say they believe the confrontation may have started at a nearby movie theater.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Tony Mancuso says the girls have shown no remorse. "It was very cold to see 12-, 13-, 14- and 15-year-olds acting this way," he said. "We cannot let this plague and take over our community." He noted this was the area's third homicide in six months involving juveniles 11 to 16 years old.
