Lakewood Church Collected Baby Items for Louisiana Hurricane Victims

Houstonians with memories of Hurricane Harvey fresh in mind have been finding way to help neighbors in Louisiana survive the aftermath of Hurricane Laura.

At Lakewood Church volunteers have been collecting donations of diapers, baby wipes, baby formula and bottled water.

Volunteers have loaded two trucks with donated supplies and Saturday morning they departed for Louisiana.

About 24 pallets of donations are on the two trucks.

The trucks are planning to start handing out goods to families in Sulfer and DeQuincy, Louisiana after 11 this morning.
