The Democratic National Committee's platform for 2020 might wind up being more of a held to President Trump than it will be to Joe Biden.
That's because the platform, which Politico got a hold of has a heavy emphasis on race. Systemic racism to be exact. Jacquie Baly at U-H says that while Democrat splay identity politics, the President gets results.
"He has policies that actually have worked they do not. So what do you have to do if you don;t have policies? You scare people and pander to their emotions," Baly said.
Baly says the super progressive platform will drive independents towards Trump, just like Hillary Clinton did four years ago, despite polls and biased media coverage.
"Independents look at their economic, their finance, and real concrete policies," she stated.
