There are 2 fewer Houston Area bars to hop for the next 30 days.

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) says two Houston-area bars have had their alcohol permits suspended. They are charged with violating social distancing rules. TABC operated under cover investigations all over the state and found 12 bars out of compliance.

In the Houston area, HandleBar Houston on Washington Avenue and BARge in Seabrook, were issued an emergency order for a 30-day permit suspension.
