The mainstream media isn't giving you the information you need when it comes to the COVID-19 pandemic.
That's because of the agenda that the mainstream media has set. Jeff McCall with DePauw University says it's not helping things.
"What you know about the virus hinges a lot on which media you consume. What people who watch CNN think about coronavirus is entirely different than people who watch Fox News," McCall said.
And he says the media is ignoring the big picture to focus on setting the narrative.
"The media always seems to want to tend on sensationalism or created conflict, and we have seen that a lot with the reporting on the coronavirus," McCall explained, adding that the media has tried to focus on feuds between the President and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo rather than the actual information you need.
