In the last two decades, the Left's cries over the climate crusade have become more insanely annoying than they have been helpful. They base their ideologies on the matter off 'science.' Yet, they have their crusaders like Greta Thunberg go out, and spout off incorrect facts, such as 'millions of people die from climate change every year.' All while she flies on private jets, basically committing more issues into the crisis she is so desperate to end.

The supposed climate crisis has created numerous baseless lawsuits from activist groups and states alike. There is yet a new one once again making the rounds of popularity and is bringing growing calls for Supreme Court intervention. The newest lawsuit is based in Hawaii, and centers around accusing big energy companies of lying about their climate change knowledge. In short, they say that companies intentionally destroyed the environment and misled the public doing so.

An organization led by former US Attorney Bill Barr, alongside numerous other high-ranking military officials and legal experts, are asking SCOTUS to get involved. President of the Consumer Energy Alliance David Holt says this needs to head to the high court.

"Climate change and emissions are really a global issue...so this becomes a question of whether this should be elevated to the federal level," he says.

The group including Bill Barr are not the only ones calling on SCOTUS to hear the case. The defendants, which include Chevron, Exxon Mobil and Shell, have also made similar requests. But the case has been allowed to proceed to trial in a lower court, pending any substantial developments.

As mentioned, this is not the first lawsuit of its kind. There have been countless others, and they are not likely to stop as long as climate loons continue their incessant cries. While they preach they want to save the world, their suing of companies ends up hurting people far worse than climate change.

"It adds to the overall cost of energy...whether that is gasoline, electricity, or diesel...all energy prices go up with more litigation, permit challenges, and delays," he says.

The green machine has claimed that their efforts to save the climate are safe, easy, and cheaper than oil and gas. That alone is wrong, but beyond that, they claim everyone is in favor of the idea. That could not be further from the truth, as electric vehicle purchases continue struggling.

All the while, demand for gas and oil continues spiking to record highs.

"In the last 10 years, demand for oil and gas globally has gone up one percent to 84 percent," says Holt. "We are not moving away from oil and gas anytime soon."

Again, the suit claims that these major energy brands all duped the public, ad actually hurt the world worse. But a reality check shows that they have actually made disposal and production safer. Unlike the unsafe conditions that Chinese workers face when extracting minerals for electric car batteries.

"These companies I think can show they have been at the forefront for decades on finding ways to do things better, faster, cleaner, safer, and more responsible," he says.

As for how this case ends up? Holt says this likely ends up with the Supreme Court, and they will probably side with the big energy companies.
