Here's the real reason behind the push by democrats to impeach Trump

There's a reason the Democrats are pushing impeachment besides their Trump Derangement Syndrome.

The reason is you, actually. Last May, Houston Congressman Al Green told MSNBC they don't think they can beat the President at the ballot box.

"I'm concerned that if we don't impeach this President, he will get re-elected," Green told MSNBC in a video you can see below.

Political analyst Robert Gonzalez told KTRH that for once, Green is right.

"The Democrats have a big, big problem. His name is Donald J. Trump. Make no mistake about it," Gonzalez said.

Joe Biden recently said that if Trump survives impeachment, he'll be that much harder to beat.

"I always get asked the question; isn't the President going to stringer and harder to beat if he survives this? The answer us yes," Biden admitted.

Gonzalez says there's precedent for that line of thinking.

"When Bill Clinton was impeached, he got a lot of support. Everybody likes an underdog," Gonzalez stated, adding that supporters of Trump view him as the underdog right now.
