TPW Announces Biggest Fish of 2019

Texas Parks and Wildlife say last year Texans set 47 new state fishing records and 434 new water body records.

Hats off to 13 year old Brayden Rogers of Cisco who caught a 67.1 pound blue catfish at Lake Tawakoni last March. That was the biggest for junior anglers, according to the Texas Park and Wildlife's (TPWD) Angler Recognition Program, which has highlighted prized catches since 1970.

Impressive, but not quite like the group of Florida fisherman who reeled in a 13 foot great white shark off Fort Lauderdale. Took 90 minutes to bring in that one thousand pound fish. The fishermen describe the experience saying, "It was like seeing a unicorn."
