Could 2020 be a rerun of 2004 for the left?

Democrats are acting like the 2020 election is in the bag, but it could just be a repeat of what happened in 2004.

In case you forgot, heading into that cycle, one of the favorites was the super liberal Howard Dean. Republican strategist Jessica Colon tells KTRH the 2020 Democrats are more extreme than Dean was.

Just when you thought it couldn't get worse than Howard Dean, here comes this group of Democrat candidates that are showing us a new path off the left cliff," Colon explained.

The Democrats wound up nominating the 'safe' choice in John Kerry in 2004. He lost to George W. Bush, and Colon says Joe Biden could be the safe choice again, with the same result.

"All this bodes incredibly well for President Trump. Democrats don't know who they are right now. Their identity is incredibly muddled," Colon said.

Yet the left thinks it's just a formality, just like Texas Democrats think the state is theirs to turn blue next year.
