Police say that a two-year-old girl is dead after her mother’s car hit her while going in reverse in a parking lot Sunday night.
This happened around 10 o'clock in the parking lot at The Lodge on El Dorado Apartment Homes not far from the Gulf Freeway.
Houston police say the child was transported to a local hospital were she was pronounced dead. The accident seems to be unintentional , but they are still conducting their investigation.
They will refer the case to the district attorney’s office to see if any charges will be filed once their investigation is complete.
