UPDATE: The manhunt had for 65-year-old Pavol Vido had been underway since around 7 a.m. Authorities confirmed that he shot himself just after 2 p.m.

UPDATE: A standoff is underway near the scenes of two shootings in the Cleveland area. Authorities say it is related to the search for the man suspected in the deadly gunfire, Pavol Vido
ORIGINAL: .A woman has been killed and a Liberty County deputy was shot in the neck in Liberty County, as part of what has become a multiple shooting in two separate scenes. The deputy was taken to the hospital by Life Flight. Reports say the deputy, identified as Richard Whitten, is still alive. He is a four year veteran of the department. We are waiting for more information about the woman that was killed.
Officials in Liberty County also say there is a manhunt underway for Pavol Vido, who was living in a metal container behind the business. In the last month, the sheriff's office served Vido eviction papers.
Law enforcement says multiple people were also shot at the B Dependable Plumbing. The plumbing business is where the woman that was killed was found. Vido's encounter with the Whitten was at a veterinarian clinic a couple of miles away from the plumbing business.
Seven Cleveland ISD schools are in lock-in mode because of the investigation. That means no one is allowed in or out of the campuses.
