If you enjoy the companionship of a dog or two, you have probably heard recently heard about Canine Bucellosis. This is a disease that can be transmitted between dogs. Most important - dogs can transmit it to people, although those instances are rare. The disease in dogs can cause a miscarriage or a stillborn puppy in females and infertility in males. In people, it gives us fever, sweats, headache and weakness. It is transmitted to people who come in contact with a female dog's bodily fluids while she is pregnant and especially when she is birthing a puppy - like a veterinarian staff and dog breeders.
