Katy ISD says a suspect has been charged with making a terroristic threat against two Katy ISD schools.
The suspect's identity has not been released, but Katy ISD says the person is in custody.
On Wednesday, a terroristic threat to Paetow High School and Stockdick Junior High was reported.
Paetow High School Principal Mindy Dickerson sent a letter to parents and staff saying that a picture was on social media showing a student at the school holding a handgun. The picture also showed what looked like an automatic gun, but Katy ISD as of 10 o'clock this morning said it was a semi-automatic gun. That same post included a threat to Stockdick Junior High.
As a result of the threats, extra officers are at both campuses this morning.
