Teen in Deadly Egg-Throwing Incident gets Plea Deal

A Houston teenager involved in an egg-throwing prank that led to a deadly crash is pleading guilty to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

The unnamed 14-year old and some friends were throwing eggs at cars in January, when one of the drivers whose vehicle was damaged stopped to confront the pranksters.Police say Christopher Lopez chased after the teens, who jumped into a GMC Acadia and drove off.

The underage driver ran a red light at Aldine Mail Route, smashing into a Ford F-150 pickup driven by Silvia Zavala.She was killed.

The teen has been in custody since January.He was given one-year probation and will testify against Lopez.
