PHOTOS: League City "Killing Fields" Victims Have Ties In Other States

Authorities in League City have made breaks in cold cases that date back 30 years.

Two women known since, as Jane and Janet Doe, referred to the women whose remains were found on Calder Road near I-45 in League City on Feb. 2, 1986 and Sept. 8, 1991.

However, investigators have yet to identify the circumstances that led to their deaths.

For now, they've pulled together new renderings of DNA Phenotyping on both women, which offers insight about their genealogy.

They even have their names, which remain undisclosed for the public.

Police say one of the women whose remains were found in 1986, has ties to Tennessee. The other whose remains were found in 1991, Louisiana.

Their bodies were found in the same area Laura Miller's body was found. She is the daughter of Equusearch founder Tim Miller. She went missing Sept. 10 1984. Her body, as well as that of Heidi Villareal-Fye were found in the same area as the women involved in "The Killing Fields."

That case remains open and is referred to as "Calder Road" cold cases.
