McDonald's Giving Free Breakfast To Students, Teachers For STAAR Test Week

Houston-area students and teachers are getting help from McDonald’s as they get in ready for STAAR (State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness) testing this week.

The popular restaurant chain is giving free breakfast from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., starting today. Students and teachers from grade levels three to eighth benefit.

Options include Egg White Delight McMuffin or fruit and maple oatmeal. Other choices include, a 1% low fat milk or apple juice, plus apple slices on the side.

Limits include: one breakfast per student or teacher and it's dine-in only.

Student must also be present and with a parent or legal guardian to get breakfast.
