EXCLUSIVE AUDIO: Sec. Of State Mike Pompeo Talks With KTRH

(Washington, DC) -- The U.S. is removing all remaining American personnel from the U.S. embassy in Venezuela. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the decision reflects the deteriorating situation in the South American country.

He adds that U.S. diplomatic staff had "become a constraint on U.S. policy." U.S. relations with Venezuela have been dicey since January when the Trump administration recognized opposition leader Juan Guaido as the legitimate president of the country.
