POLICE: 15 Car Break-Ins Reported At Rodeo Houston In Just Two Days

RODEO HOUSTON is underway but trouble is brewing for folks parking on side streets and unguarded areas around NRG park. Rodeo days this year at NRG Stadium expects more than 2.5 million goers over the next three weeks.

Local authorities say they expect a rise in criminal activity. That includes minor assault, but the University of Texas police at Houston says there's a rise in car burglaries all around the area.

Folks are breaking windows and taking personal property visible.

Since the cookoff kicked off, about 15 crimes have been reported in and around NRG Park. That's according to data from the Houston Police Department.
