Poll: Majority feels America is viewed favorably across the globe

American confidence in its own self-image is on the rise.

According to Gallup, 58 percent of you feel the United States rates either ‘very’ or ‘somewhat’ favorably in the eyes of other countries. Harry Kazianis with the Center for the National Interest tells KTRH the credit for this boost in self-confidence goes to President Trump.

“The economy is going well. What that does is project a sense of self confidence for Americans,” Kazianis said.

The 58%, which Gallup says is being driven by the way independents feel, is the biggest number Gallup has seen since 2003.
